Американская майнинговая компания Greenidge Generation заказала 22 500 устройств для добычи биткоина Antminer S19j Pro от Bitmain. В рамках планов по расширению фирма заключила соглашение о строительстве новых центров на шести площадках в Техасе и купила земельный участок в Южной Каролине. Общая мощность объектов Greenidge Generation составит 2000 МВт. Всего компания заказала 29 000 майнеров, которые доставят к третьему кварталу 2022 года. Напомним, в октябре Greenidge Generation отчиталась о добытых 729 ВТС за третий квартал 2021 года. Ожидаемая выручка за период, предположительно, составит $33–$37 млн при чистом убытке $16–$19 млн. В марте компания анонсировала поглощение котирующегося на Nasdaq поставщика решений для клиентов и техподдержки Support.com. Сделку закрыли 14 сентября, акции Greenidge Generation попали в листинг под тикером GREE.
